My church youth group is getting a pet bunny. How should we take care of him during the week?
Question by Gracie: My church youth group is getting a pet bunny. How should we take care of him during the week?
There is church Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. How should we take care of him during the week? Should we take him home to different peoples’ houses? Also, there are only 7 youth members (we are a very small church).

you guys should take care of it each day and take turns like one family takes it for a week the next day a different family

First off If you get a bunny then you want a tame bunny and young.Somebody should take it home once a month to bathe it and clip its nails. When you get it check its nails if you want it to be easy care then get a light colored bunny so you can see the nails clearly cause you will have to trim them once a month avoiding the red. Switching between people is a good idea but not necasary as long as you guys give it tons of attention during youth group and church. I would day every Wednesday you should clean the cage give hime fresh food and water. And on Sunday and Wednesday give him/her fruits and greens ( Maybe 2 carrots cut in half and peeled) and they love the lettuce on carrots so don’t remove it just wash it. For fruit don’t ever give them oranges. But apples and grapes are there fav’s and celery and spinach leaves are good.Give a good amount to last the week untill the next meeting. And use Pine bedding keeps it smelling fresh they poop a LOT! Hope I helped.
It could be scary for the little guy to move from house to house. So just make sure you check on him at least once every other day. Or, since the number of kids in your group equal how many days there are in a week, trade off checking on him each day.
