What drum should my church get for our praise band?



Question by Jake Holland: What drum should my church get for our praise band?
My friend is going to play drums for my church, and the way the acoustics are we probably need to go with an electric set. What do you think we should get? We really don’t have a whole lot of money. $ 700 would be pushing our budget… Thanks a ton and God bless you!

    Yamaha makes a nice electric set for around this much. I have an older one and love it. It takes a few days to get used to but the conrtol in a small setting is worth it.

    No $ 700 electronic set will sound great, but I think in that price range Alesis beats Yamaha and Roland.

    I would recommend a used roland kit. It’s the best brand I’ve played on for electronic kits and they wear pretty well. Look around on ebay.
